From the review pasted into front cover:

‘As a contribution to Masonic literature the book is a gem and cannot fail to make a strong appeal to all who revel in Masonic idealism.  It is a book that also may be put into the hands of thoughtful non-Masons as well as Brethren of the Craft.  Some of the author’s conclusions go further than ours, yet we gladly acknowledge that as an exposition of the more profound aspects of Masonry, it is a valuable contribution to Masonic literature and deserves a place in every Mason’s home library’.
