Inscription to previous owner on front free endpaper ‘Tony, from Viv, Bill, Sharen. Christmas 1970’. Dust wrapper in good condition. Some damage to head of spine of dust wrapper (not torn but browned and cracked) and general mild shelf-wear.
 
One of the books thought to have contributed to the ‘occult explosion’ of the 1970s, this ‘practical guide for witches, warlocks, and covens’ does exactly that. The contents cover preliminary preparations, divination, spells for lovers, counter-magic, vengeance and attack, and how to form a coven. Something of a milestone in the history of 20th century occult literature, a small piece of history.
